Someone called? XD

But, on the topic, I do think that these videocards will be the redemption of ATI. Maybe not that heavenly, but better than nVidia's, nonetheless.

Lmao.

As I said before, its possible, but the 80% is likely one game that will be optomised for ATI cards, eg. Assassin's Creed with DX10.1.

nice one.

oh i definitely agree that this is ATI's new beast, but i just cant believe those assumed performance figures.

and thats all it is, an assumption. and as i've said before, assumption is the mother of all **** ups.

No no no. When they say 80% faster they refer to benchmarks. You will more than likely not see over a 20-30fps gain at the most compared to a GTX280. Another reason why these figures don't even matter. A benchmark is never a good comparison to how a card will perform anymore. Take the 2900XT for example, that held the world record for quite some time.....the 3870X2 still does. All in all, benchmarks usually spit out biased and empty numbers.

That is why I will never buy a card based off of reviews. I will only buy a card after seeing how it performs from OCN members.
