Got a Bic pen?

See the attached video. Thats the same type of lock that is easily breakable with a emptied out pen. Caused quite an uproar a while back.

I couldn't open that link from work but I will be looking into that when I get home.

This is a "tubular key" which is the same as my tower has. Do you think any tubular key would do or would I need to get a specific one?

Hey I have to look for them but I have a bunch of the round keys from PCs, from different manufactures. If you want I look for them and send them to you. They may work because I have used the same key on a thermaster case with a couple of a different cases plus it also worked on a kingwin Sata removable tray.

the front panel on my friend's alien ware locks and the locking tab is just a flimsy piece of plastic, you could break it very easily, see if yours is like that on the side panel lock

Well I wouldn't want you to have to go out of your way for me. I think I'm just going to try and find a few keys, maybe go to a PC store or something and see if they could open it for me. IF that doesn't work, I think I'll drill or use the "Bic" method.

So does the Bic method involve breaking the lock or does it just act as a key? If it acts as a key I might just do that haha.
It doesn't break the lock it just forms to the lock like a key.

Hmm I'll definitely have to try that. I could just keep a Bic pen near my PC so any time I need to open it I can use that!
