8800GT is actually quite a bit faster than the 8800GS even if its overclocked.

Between the X1950 or 8800GS the 8800GS is faster in most areas and also consumes less power.

Assuming you will be gaming at 1024x768 the 8800GS or X1950 both would work quite well.

1440x900, dell SE1WFp.

1950 will do good, 8800gs even better. as i dont plan using directX10. if i can get the rebate, ill go with 8800gs, if i cant.. ill have to buy 8800gs OR x1800xt.

And X1950XTX is faster than X1800XT by a very wide margin.
And no. The X1950XTX WILL struggle with the latest games if run at 1440x900

allright, im currently struggling to get the 8800gs as i cant pass the 200US margin.

i found a P6N Platinum on US$54.00 OEM... what u guys think?
Or, the g31-s2l.. wich in a post i read it OCs really good.
