| Definately one for a gamepad. I've got myself a 360 wireless adaptor for the PC so the transition is seemless from 360 to PC. I can't say I noticed improved visuals, though. |
There are alot better visuals if you up them all to max and play DX10.
Comparing DX9 to DX10, the AA is ALOT better in DX10. The background objects like fences and pails and building are alot smoother. I dont know why this is.
comparing 360 and PS3 to PC, the draw distance is much better during the ice stage. You can see the castle clearly on the PC while the 360 hides it with clouds. Also, the textures are alot sharper. The AA is much smoother, and the shadows are less of an eye soar during the jungle stage. DMC4's game engine produces horrid shadows for that stage, the PC version doesn't fix it but helps it alot with maxed AA.
Also, tip to all (for Vista) go to C:/Users/USERNAMEHERE/AppData/Roaming/CAPCOM/Devil May Cry 4/. Edit the config.ini and scroll down till you see fur. Change NONE to HIGH. I havent testest this yet but Im sure there must be some kind of difference. There are various options in the config.ini that are not listed in the game that are worth screwing around with.
