about the fan, either the psu can't supply enough power for it to go 3000 rpm, or I am just too used to my bro's rig I built at xmas. When I first turned everything on I had all 8 fans connected to the psu, on one molex, on a 400w hipro psu. Minutes later I smelt it. So I can only have the kaze plugged in. I'll find out if it is max or not when i get the new psu.

When previously I said I didn't think that the fan was going full speed, I checked speedfan and it's going 2700 rpm at max on the controller. So I guess I'm already used to loud fans, but I really thought it would be louder . Don't get me wrong I'm glad it's not too loud .
