Its a pain but what can you do. I just leave the right side screw less and left side with screws so I don't have to open the side panel with all the cable management.

Hello to all Antec 1200 owners, I'm a possible future Antec 1200 owner here myself and I have some questions for you

I've always been a mid-tower user, but I've decided to try full-tower.. My current mid-tower case is a NZXT-Lexa.

It comes with an external LCD display on the top that shows CPU, HDD and SYS temperatures. I've grown quite used to it, so I've been wondering if there are ways I can have a similar screen on an Antec 1200 with any kind of third-party addon you use or may know of.

If not which sofware do you use to check temperatures? SpeedFan?

Thanks!

I just use Everest Ultimate Edition to check temps for mostly everything.

Question: Im interested in putting a sidefan on, is it worth it? Also should I have it as an intake or an exhaust?

well it all depends on where you put it. You could alwayt use a big flat piece of cardboard and mound a fan to it then move the cardboard around altering the location of the fan to see where the best place is to mount it while watching your temps. also you could test intake exhauste to see which is better. every system is differnt you'll have to play around with it to see what gives you the best results.
