Difference between Mid and Full tower cases?

I wanted to know what if any were the differences between a full tower case and a mid tower case exactly?

the size difference.

Usually there are more places for Hdd's and cd rom drives.
Both are ATX though, so standard mobo's and Psu's fit.

Typically the full tower will be taller and hold 2-3 more 51/4" drives

The mid/full/whatever cases are just to help guage size difference. When you get a case just check to make sure it supports your motherboard model and PSU, has room for all the HDD's/Optical Drives you will need/Expansion slots/etc and that it is large enough for you to comfortably install all of the parts, and, if you feel the need, eliminate all cable clutter.

I forgot, some of the video cards only fit in Full cases due to their width and length. The same goes for large CPU HSF's

cases vary with sizes. some may be a inche taller than each other but both be full size towers. do you understand what i mean?

There is no exact difference. If there was, all mid cases would look the same and all full cases would look the same.

the size is one sure thing that changes, usally the amount of 5 1/4 bays is 5 or 6 and 2 3 1/2 bays is 2. there are usally more hard drive places mine currentley has 6.
