[Project] Maleficent Emerald Dream(56K Ultra Kill) - Page 13

ooh, that paint is yummy.

After your clearcoat has cured for 3-4 days, i would suggest you buff out all the painted pieces with some mother's plastic polish, it's a great way to make that paint in particular look awesome.

And my next case is a lego case, so I'm not sure I want to paint over the legos. Although it might be cool to have the outside some mirage paint, and the inside still the color of the legos. Is there a site where I can check out all the varieties of the mirage paint?
Check the link in my sig for what the green/purple looks like, and the red/blue as well.

This is good work wildfire
The paint should pop when the clear coat/top-coat goes in, I am watchin the paint closely. I am going to be experimenting with duplicolor mirage soon.

I don't have a lot of free time on my hand, so I'll do more later on. As for your mod, things are still looking good. That paint stain sucks, but hopefully it doesn't show that much when you put it all together. However, you can always fix it in rev. 2.
their will be no revision 2 lol, their will be a different project to come next.

And when enough builds up, it'll drip. I hope this helped.

if you actualy read the build log u would no i ran into a paint can that had a nozzle that sprayed out of the front and back, i didnt no until after i started spraying with it and due to the handle grip it showered the panel with drips. luckily this peice is barely visable when im done.

Thanks for the suggestion i was considering doing some polishing, im going to have to look into time constraints and see what i can do. What tool do i use for polishing? Some kinda brush thing or just a cloth with polish formula on it? wax on wax off lol?

Ahh i hate to hear that everyones using the mirage stuff now i hope it dosnt get popular, i dont mind like 10-15 people using it but if it becomes a standard in case modding that would make wildfire99 a sad puppy.

Leave it. If you paint that switch, I will unsubscribe.

Leave it.

Also, I know its a bit late, but with that Soldering and the DVD drive, and how you said the wires are harder because they have lots of ends? It helps to twist them together, I always do that and it makes it a lot easier.

Here's a picture of what I mean.

Great mod btw.
