I have a whole bunch of delta fans from servers which have that annoying plug that looks like the CPU power plug... where did you find 3pins?

I buy them from FrozenCPU or PerformancePCs.com. I have a dozen of them on hand and will be getting another 32 in a day.

Greeting CD!

I am looking to get my hands on some San Ace 1011's...problem is I went to the web catalog for Sanyo Denki to look it up so I can get the specific item number to shop around and could not for the life of me figure out which one everyone is talking about.

Are there several that are "capable" in your opinion or are there specific ones that are better then others. You mention the 100+CFM 38dba ones, which their are plenty of...but there are just so many to choose from.

Help is appreciated

EDIT: 109R1212H1011 <---is that the best choice overall?

Yes but it is discontinued. I did find a vendor for the new model that replaces the R model and according to the spec sheet iit is rate a tad lower in CFM and a tad higher in static pressure. I will see if I can find that link.

That sites legit. I ordered four San Aces from them once the 1011's were discontinued.

Wonderfully perfect Marin! I will have to give you voodoo doll rep since I cannot do it electronically....sorry if you feel a couple needle pokes...sometimes I get my voodoo dolls mixed

Besides putting this on the CPU cooler, would you suggest also having some for your case fans as well or would it be overkill? Or would an S-Flex be a better buy for something like case air flow?

I already ordered a Rheobus fan controller for the case so noise won't be an issue anymore.

EDIT: Ordered 3 of the Fans from Newark Probably put 1 for intake 1 for pushing the CPU cooler and 1 for out the top of the case....any suggestions?

That's the link. I see you found it. See if the fan in my link is the same as yours.

Uh...pretty sure.. same site and basic same design/CFM/Dba....there are so many of them that are so close.

I appreciate the help CD. So again, where would you suggest placement of the fans...obviously a push for my CPU cooler. Intake in front and an Out in back of the case or top? I kinda want to keep 1 front and side LED CM that came with the case just for design sakes but I have plenty of room for 2 intakes in the front
