Which is Better LAing ddc of Koolance PMP-450 High-flow Pump or Swiftech MCP655™?

Thread Starter
i have seen individual specs in performance online store that koolance 450 have a 5.8m (19ft) max head while the MCP655 has only 3.1m (10ft)

i am planning to buy my 2nd pump soon

which is better in terms of performance?

i've been wondering the same thing... the MCP655 delivers higher flow, but less head.

more head ftw?

Same as what Ducky stated.
They are both the same pump.
There are 3 models, one D5 that is not variable (cant change the settings) One a D5 that is variable (can change the settings) and one D5-B which is actually different, as it is slower (stuck on setting 4 out of setting 5 of the variable and cannot be changed)
So 2 are the same speed, 1 is slower.

What is the difference from?

It looks like they are still using the standard 810N top and they aren't over-volting. Unless they replaced the impeller, changed the motor, or modded the top... it's the same pump.
