Just an example from my Skulltrail. My non EO Xeons stopped at a .6ghz OC. My EO Xeons are stable under load at a 1ghz OC and have more to give....at least another .4ghz and that's just because the board/RAM is limited. They are golden...

A 4ghz quad at 1.38 stable is a beautiful thing

I was mulling over purchasing an e8600 as well... Assuming E0 E8400s clock as well as their x10 multi brothers I'd much rather save $80+ and grab one from TG.
