V nice pizza Going to have a crack an e6420 on mine in the week sometime Hopefully be able to get on the top 20 with an intel chip for once So sick of getting bad batch's and steppings.

Sad news. No more Lanparty products.

My T2RS plus has been acting up the past couple days. First she got to where when se booted, she would only boot with 350FSB. Didn't matter what was set in BIOS, it booted 350. Last night I went to clear CMOS and afterwards I got a C1 error. Typically means a memory issue. So I took the Domi's out and put some OCZ 1066 plats in. Booted right up. Went to reload my BIOS settings and now none of my presets work. Tried higher PL among other things and still no go.

Here's my 600FSB BIOS settings. I had to go through every setting twice to get to this point. The 1/3 GTL lane turned out to be the last kicker to get me to 600.

I've gone through all the fine delay combinations. Here are the one's that show promise for me: 2-2-1, 7-7-1, 0-0-2, 1-1-2, 2-2-3, 3-3-3, & 4-4-3

So far skews don't help me any and NB doesn't really take a whole lot of voltage. Though, I have some room to tighten board latency a bit.

Clockgen could prbly be lower.

can someone HELP me which regards to this motherboard cause i just recently purchased this one and i cant seem to figure out what and how the settings i should tick off...

my CPU specs are:

Q9550 @2.83ghz
Corsair dominator 1066mhz 2x2gb
ATI 5870 HIS 1gb gddr5
HEC Cougar 700watts

can someone help me with a definite settings on how i could overclock to 3.40ghz which is stable and wont ruin my 3D applications as well?please?

Sorry but there are no definite settings when it comes to overclocking, even 2 identical systems may require different settings to achieve the same overclock, it's all a matter of trial and error. Take a look at this template for the DFI DK P45 2TRS Junior board, which should give you an idea.

To achieve 3.4GHz with your CPU you would need to set CPU Clock = 400MHz and CPU Clock Ratio = x8.5. Set your memory timings manually as in the template to CAS 5: 5: 5: 15 and leave all other memory timings alone. Set your DRAM Voltage Control to whatever is recommended for the Dominators (it's printed on the sticks). Set your DRAM speed (choose a divider that gives you as close as possible 1066MHz). Disable everything under CPU features but leave Core Multi-Processing on Enabled. Now you need to play around with CPU Vid Special Add which is your CPU voltage, and perhaps the North Bridge voltages to achieve 3.4GHz, you could try +87.5mV as in the template as a starting point to see what that gives you, just make sure you don't stray too far from the maximum voltages and temps recommended on the Intel spec sheet.
