Error in Memtest probably mean to things, either to low DRAM Voltage or NB Voltage, try with DRAMv first.
Recommend to run 4 instances of Memtest with ~850mb each with 4Bb of memory and up to at least 500%, 1000% is even better.
Pro version should give you more details.
If you want to tune for better performance with bus @ 400 and ram @ 1600, you can lower your timing to 666 18 and tRD 4 but you need much more NBv and DRAMv to make it stable then with 1600 777 21 tRD5 and in my opinion it´s not worth.
Better to save it for some bus @ 450 and ram @ 1800 777 21 tRD 7 or bus @ 475 and ram @ 1900 777 21 tRD 7.
Hi and welcome to OCN and the Asus Rampage Extreme Overclocking Guide
Thank you, glad to hear that it´s working okey for you.
EDIT: BTW, fill in your system spec , go to "User CP" top of the page, then "Edit System" under "System Information" to the right in "Your Control Panel".
That way it´s easier for others to help.Edited by Ghostleader - 8/20/09 at 9:30am
