I know almost every P5N-T Deluxe owner has spent days/nights on end pulling their hair out trying for a stable setup with this motherboard. I've created this thread to show what settings made my specific system stable so that others may use these settings for reference or to potentially solve stability issues.
System Specs:
Motherboard: Asus P5N-T Deluxe Bios Version 1201
CPU: Intel E8400 45nm 3.0GHz 6MB L2 cache
RAM: 2x1GB(Dual Channel) Crucial Ballistix Tracers PC2-6400 (Installed in A1 & B1 slots)
Bios Settings:
A.I. Tuning: Manual
System Clocks:
SLI-Ready Memory=Expert
HPET Support=Disabled(This can be found in the APM Configuration under the Power menu.)
Now of course these settings are specific to my system, but anyone could definetely get some reference voltage values such as for the NB BR04 Chip, NB Chip, and SB Chip.
CPU Frequency:3.00GHz
RAM Frequency:800MHz
RAM Timings:4-4-4-12 24 2T
FSB : DRAM= 5 : 6
This setup was stress tested using Orthos Stress Prime 2004 with the "Blend - Stress CPU and RAM" test for a little over 6 hours. There were no errors and my maximum core temperature on both cores was 48°C.
Note: I plan on posting again to this thread with any stable overclocked settings in the future.
