There are emu's and such for linux/unix and OSX that you can run windows apps in. I personally like OpenGL better than Dx anyways

but would you lose stability?, also i noticed someone said something about sound?, also dual boot is a fine idea, except then you lose the whole reason you installed it in the first place... again for me i say stability

I would do it to piss MS off, I am already running linux and unix, I might as well add their other competitor to my system.

but who the heck would get used to it? i mean, if you were to do your everyday things on a mac, it would take a lot more time than doing it on windows, no matter how much it angers you (dont wana say 'p*** you off' cuz i dont want to get nailed for 'swearing'). In windows, if you change your options a little (using classic/new start menu, a new theme, using a taskbar instead of a desktop), would you get used to it within a week? it took me 2 weeks to get used to the whole thing and use it efficently.

The thing about it is that I am used to nearly every OS, I would use MAC for image and video work. Remember, I only use Windows because I need it for school.

I use OSX at school so I am already used to using both effectively, and never have confused either since the first day, I grew up with windows since 95 and OSX is so intuitively designed IMO....
