the G.Skills are good as long as you dont go above their rated frequency as G.Skill bin their chips quite aggressively so 800MHz wont go past 850 in some cases but if you get the 1000 or 1066 you be fine till your next upgrade

edit: also just point a fan @ your ram if it is hot, it will help any ram.
