I'm running the system in my sig. Core 0 consistently shows up as 8-10 degrees hotter than the other three cores between various tests under load. At idle, it's the hottest but only by about 1-2 C, but putting a load on it expands this gap to that 8-10 C difference. This doesn't seem right, but is there any way I can correct it?

I have the exact same thing! Interesting thing here is that we both have a TRUE. But for me its always my Core#1, at idle its always changing going up and down sometimes almost 10c difference. When system goes under load there almost perfectly the same within 1c. Maybe its something to do with the design of the TRUE?

At idle you really are only using one core. It isn't until massive multitasking or stress testing when the other cores kick in.

Well when I run core temp. My cpu's core idle temps are 37-39C on core #0 and 43-44C on core #1. Not sure the cause, but while running orthos, and the CPU is given a full load, they both get to about 57-59C.

the DTS sensors are very crappy at idle. they weren't really made to measure idle temps but more for load temps. thats why they are inaccurate at idle and become much more accurate upon load.
