Every monitor is RGB, and also theres no such thing as an RGB cable, except for Component Video (which is as close as you're gonna get). I think you mean VGA, or DVI?

I apologize, I know little of wires. I think the cord I'm thinking of is the VGA, but either VGA or DVI, because I can just get another adapter but I want a way for a monitor.

...why? I know there was at least one guy who knew what I was talking about. Have you honestly never seen a video card with a VGA monitor slot, a DVI monitor slot, and a TV-OUT slot?

Yeah, I have heard of those outputs on a video card. Since a computer outputs information totally differently to a TV, than it would a monitor, you will require a special converter box. Try searching Google a bit for 'composite to vga convertor'. That will yield some results. I have listed a few, so you don't have to search.

Thank you very much. And for those (sniper) who still need a picture of my video card to know what connectors it has, here, feast your eyes on the same as many other video cards!

This topic has been dead thats why I double posted instead of editing. If I really need a signal changer thing, would these two adapters, really not work?

RGB to DVI

TV - Out (S-video) to RGB (Its the middle one with 3 ones going into one)

Yes they would work just fine as along as you have the cables as needed

ok let me get this straight u want to convert ur DVI connection to COMPOSITE (RGB CABLE) connection right? first why would u wanna do that? dvi connection is better than a composite connection, the only reason i can think of u would wanna do that is because ur planning to connect ur computer to ur TV which doesnt have DVI input, am i right? im checking my cords right now and my 6800gt the TV out on 6800 gt and i'll assume ATI is s cable output which is 4 pins and a black plastic pin in the middle, if the link that u showed me is from ATI the one that i have on my AIW has 10 pins and a parallel metal on the bottom. its best that u double check ur videocard output if its s-video or not

If I wanted to connect my computer to my TV, I would use the S-video output, why would I need an adapter? What I want to do (as stated in multiple posts) is plug in a THIRD COMPUTER MONITOR into my computer, using the S-VIDEO output, using an adapter to do this. I think using those two adapters I can do it. Because it converts S video to the red green blue plugs then the other adapter converts the red green blue plugs into dvi, then another one would allow an VGA monitor (if I can't get a DVI monitor).

And to the post after mine, what do you mean if you have the cables? What cables do I need?
