750tx, its not modular, but you should have no problem hiding wires in the 1200 if its a problem for you.

He may have a point with the memory. I have Mushkins and I love them. I'd say just go with what looks the best to you

If you're ok with the price then I really can't find a fault with the build (with the psu swap)

Don't forget the TIM though! Pick up some MX-2 if you don't already have some.

Don't forget the MX-2!

The TIM that comes with the HDT-S1283 is nasty stuff, I wouldn't even recommend it for a SB heatsink.

Why spend the same amount for half as much ram? The DDR1000 GSkill 2x2gb is only like $70.

Yes guys, the P5Q Pro is an excellent board. I recently did a lot of research on it as I just bought it Open Box from newegg for $80. It has a max FSB of ~480MHz. So with a quad you can expect AT LEAST 450MHz.

I think you should change some things in this build back to how they were a few posts after I posted my wishlist.

Go back to the G.Skill RAM and save some money (much better company than Mushkin anyways).

I know the case is usual a choice influenced by opinion and looks. But I can not stand cases over $100. Antec 900 would suit your needs just fine for much less.

Take that money and put it into a quadcore. You're only $55 away from a Q9550. At this price point you can DEF afford to go quadcore. With a Q9550 at 450MHz FSB you can get to 3.8GHz on a quad core!
