Broken laptop, unbroken lcd screen

I guess you know what the question is...

Anyway to remove the screen from the laptop and adapt it to be used in a desktop? Anybody done it before? Links, comments, instructions welcomed.

It is possible. You will have to know how to solider and you will need a pretty good amount of tech knowledge. You will have to adapt the screen to your vid card. You will need to find the PIN assignments to, just see how the wires attach to the laptop card.

I knew it would be that tough. I think I am better off fixing the laptop. Now, if I could find a cheap Compaq laptop...
