It's no where near as perfectly smooth as a paint job. That's the trade off with Powdercoat. You get what you get...there is no sanding and laying on another coat...

But paint is no ways near as tough as this stuff...it's very hard to mar it to the bare metal.

Thanks. For basic colors it's really not expensive compared to getting an autobody shop to paint it...and a lot lot faster.
