how 99.8% is a little high it seems, but i can see that a huge majority will not care because it doesnt affect them.

You guys need to think outside the realm of OCN, ofcousre like 100% of ppl on here dont like it, but we make up a small fraction of gamers. think pplz!!!!!
QFT

+ for stepping outside the OCN-fanbox

People cry about the dumbest issues around here and think their one man tantrum is going to make a difference

I have to make a notice so that we're all clear on what I'm about to say: I'm not declaring myself in favor or against piracy, I'm simply stating how I see things.

The thing is that if people simply stop pirating then EA will just say the DRM was successful in stopping the pirates and they'll keep it in their future games.

As long as there will be piracy there will be confirmation that DRM doesn't work and we need that confirmation.

Hmm... Seems awful convenient for EA that their study found that people don't mind having EA rape their computers... Obviously they're justified, because THEIR study decided that people like EA deciding what's best for them...

I sure as hell care about it. Game developers/publishers have been getting greedier and greedier. And they're making games less fun to actually play, and much more difficult. In my opinion the turning point, when game companies became less worried about games and more worried about money, was probably the MMO, maybe even WoW in particular. You've seen what the game did to Blizzard. One word and one numeral, Starcraft II. I wouldn't be surprised if they charged monthly to play Diablo 3 online.
