Yep I even took a break from the game because I can never find a good game...there is always some asshat that leaves right before the game starts...then as soon as one player goes down 2 of their team members leave and it becomes a 3on2 game. Not to mention the lag from the server trying to connect 8 players from around the world to play a game. I will get back into it when I get this new PSU. It should be here by monday.

Then their computer or their connection can't handle it, and you have a bad gaming experince.

USE THE SERVER BROWSER PEOPLE!!!
Most of the people who own dedicated servers (including my clan) set up their dedicated servers so that people using matchmaking can't use them- when we didn't have it set like that, me and another member joined our server, which had 2 people from matchmaking in it- and we were asked if they knew us. We said no, and were both votekicked a few seconds later. Votekicked from our own server that we pay for. So we set it up so that it cannot be used for matchmaking. I'm sure this is also the case with other dedicated servers.

Use the server browser people.
LOL wow.... That's definitely not supposed to happen.

I understand completely. It is bullocks. Valve knows it too. It's a ****ty way of doing things, and its not necessary.

My own clan members get votekicked off any of our 6 servers. Votekicked means you get banned for like the remainder of the game. Its extremely stupid and Valve needs to change it now.

Nope, I have the same cpu (and even the same motherboard) as you and my game runs fine.
Check to make sure your OC is stable maybe?

I had the same problem. Go to options > video > advanced video settings > paged pool memory available : set that to medium if it is set to high (which is default I think). I hope that fixes your problem.

What? Them kicking us out of our own server that we pay for, or us locking rude matchmaking people out of our server?

mod? Whats wrong with mods? Why do you game on a PC if you don't like mods?

Unless by "mod" you mean us locking out matchmaking, which isn't a mod, all you have to do is password the server so when people try to get into it from matchmaking they get a password prompt, won't know it, and be forced to rehost. It isn't a mod, its built into the game. Simply log in to rcon and use the commands to password the server. No modifications there.

And if you want to talk about asshats, we can talk about those people that kicked me out of my clan's server

*Me and friend enter game and start playing*
Matchmaking person: Do I know you?
Me: Nope
Matchmaking person: Then how the **** did you get into MY game?
Me: This is my clan's server, we just connected via IP
Matchmaking person: Get the **** out
*calls votekick, him and his buddy kick me*

I reset server, (killing their game), join server, login as rcon, and BOOM, password.
