the jump from Normal to Advanced is significantly harder but i think its good in a way. it caters for everyone.

like, if you are just starting out, Normal is a great way to get used to the game mechanics and the way it all works. once you are confident, jump in the deep end and play Advanced.

if you think you're tough, attach a 30kg weight belt with no floaties and jump in the Expert deep end.

Expert is a little too intense sometimes for me to really enjoy the game, you have to be deeply in the zone. Advanced is the best way to play.

An excellent analogy and an opinion that I whole-heatedly agree with.

I have sampled Expert, but it was too intense and I wasn't laughing hysterically anymore... I was sweating profusely, and I almost crushed my mouse

Wow. After I finish all them maps I plan to replay on expert only. Biggest problem with expert is that you'll never see pass the ending.

I'm sure its possible. It would just take tons of coordinating, such as strategicly placing gasoline tanks and propane canisters, knowing exactly when to blow them, conserving molitovs and pipe bombs, and making every shot count.

oi seriously guys, seriously...

how the effing hell do you pass the rooftop finale of No Mercy? lol. on advanced.

i thought i'd done it before for some reason but nah i havnt finished it. theres no way. the furtherest we got was the 2nd tank, it was on fire and i swear 1 clip from death given how much we'd pumped it, i was last man standing and while crouching behind what i thought was cover, he nailed me with a bit of concrete.

that level is insane. over an hour at least, and no pass.

those that have done it, whats your strategy? my suggestion was to keep moving, rooftop to rooftop. we didnt do it though, everyone else was adamant we stay on the main roof with the MG.

Run and shoot, its the only way ive managed it, if you have green health just make sure you run far enough away to pump a whole mag into him then run and reload, repeat, also helps if one man goes down so the tank stands and hit him for a bit, you can get a little closer to him and pump a mag into his head, im a shotgun man, and it dont take many of these run and guns to kill him.

You kill a tank by playing a game of catch me if you can. The automatic upgrade weapon is my weapon of choice against tanks and witches. Aim for the head and let loose a full clip. At this point the tank will usually come after you so have someone else do the same and the tank will change direction again. Placement is very important against tanks. You are right about not leaving everyone on the main building. It's really hard to get good shots on them like that. Also, if your lucky you can hit the tank with the main gun for some major dmg.

I wasn't saying it wasn't possible. I was just pointing out that I wanted to beat all the maps on advance before trying to get through them on expert. Otherwise it might take me forever to beat the campaigns.
