OCN Top 30 Systems with Single GPU Graphic Card

Rules:

1. Futuremark 3DMark03, 05, 06, and Vantage are the benchmarks of choice.

2. Any cpu configuration can be used (single or dual socket or more), but all runs must be done with identical hardware.

3. Single gpu: this excludes dual gpu single cards and crossfire/sli configurations. (price is not a factor). If you have a mutliple GPU system, you must disable SLi/Crossfire so that only one of your GPU's is used for the benchmarks.

4. No physx drivers (or they must have the ppu disabled if you insist on using current drivers)

5. Other lists will not dictate your participation or inclusion in this list. Ex: Feel free to take out hardware to meet the requirements without fear of removal once you add the hardware back into the system.

6. Please do me a favor calculate the Total.

7. ORB Result is "REQUIRED" (Screen Shot with Link Showing Counts)
How to: Register a Free ORB account
"i7 Users allow to use Screenshots until futuremark fix the ORB issue"

8. If you already out of the top 30 list, and have updated scores, you need to re submit all scores.

NEW
9. 3dmark11 is now available, update 3dmark11 score only is allow, but must be using the same hardware as rest of the tests.

i dont know why you people make threads like this? if you are going to make a top gpu thread why do you use the total scores? if its just gpu then it should be sm2 and sm3 scores.

well, for fun

also, the thread is about "SYSTEMS" with only "1x" GPU

not so much of gpu

I'm curious why you're doing a GPU top 30 and using 3DMark for the scores? For example, 'ncsa' has a 3dMark06 score that is around 200 marks higher than mine, and he is using a single 8800gts at stock, while I'm using 2x 8800GTSs OCed quite a bit. The reason his score is so high is that he is using a quad-core where I'm using a dual-core, and his clock speed is 1Ghz higher than mine, at an insane 4.95Ghz.

So his score reflects an awesome CPU score, and really has almost nothing to do with GPU. I guess the thread is about 'systems' that just happen to have one GPU, the ironic part is that the GPU often has little to do with the scores in the thread.

Just my two cents I guess, I would opt for a test the is GPU dependent, or CPU independent.

3% overclock on my q6600 = 13020 3d mark 06 points
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=7949485
3d mark 05 = 14919
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=4452441
3d mark 03 = 41722
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5922888

Virtuel mark = 12502 *not added to total*

Total marks = 69661
are these any good im hoping to get a better motherboard so i can get at least 3.2ghz overclock out of my quad :-D

just a question i got the latest drivers for my GPU how do i enable physx? and does it make that much of a difference i went into the physx control panel and it says it cannot detect physx card?

same as posted in the orriginal

sure but still, say the difference between my 9850BE and 2.6Ghz 5000+BE was 12000 vs 9000
which for the most part, GPU still means more and then CPU can take part also, it's not that bad.

"Due to revisions in recent driver releases by ATI, both the 3870X2 and the 4870X2 should now be allowed. During Vista you can disable catalyst AI to force 1 gpu rendering, and in XP you can now disable the crossfire PLX chip on the card. I tested this setup in XP @ 3.6ghz, and concluded with 17K and some change in 06 with crossfire disabled on the card, and 21k with it enabled."-NCSpecV81
