We'll see how it does, and if they actually learned from their numerous mistakes in Oblivion.

The next Elder Scrolls game needs to have a better fighting system, its rather bland. Hopefully they take Fable II as an example, the fighting style was absolutely fabulous.

And they need to hire a story writer. While I love these sandbox medevil games, the stories are not very interesting, not very epic, doesn't really get you into the story like these Japanese games.

Hopefully there will be destructible environments, etc.

If only there was a game with a combination of Elder Scrolls (The vast size of the games)/Final Fantasy (Rich story lines)/Fable (The freedom: buying houses, marriage, choose between good or evil)/Civilization (Conquering towns, making your own towns, building your own empire.)

I can dream can't I? D:

i agree. Morrowind really set the bar high. Oblivion felt more restrictive than Morrowind for some reason...

I tried Oblivion on 360 and PC. Despite being surrounded by friends that loved it I just couldn't get into it. Not saying there weren't areas which it excelled but I thought the overall gameplay was really bland. The five voice actor comment is right on. They had really distinct voices so it was pretty cheesy when an orc on one side of the map had the same voice and personality as the inn keeper on the other side of the map. Minor gripe though.
