Continuing Pics:

one of my fan controllers

my memory

well here is where i got creative I wanted to save as much bay space as i could and I didnt want to place my three hard drives in 3 slots so i drew up some plans and i came up with something that would only take up 2 slots and holds 3 HDDs nothing is sold that is able to do this most of them are 3 bays and hold 4 HDDs... so here is the prototype:

i sent that to my friend and he made a few changes to it and finished both sides:

and yes he added the fan good touch keeps the HDDs cooler since they are so compact

here is how it works:

it is placed in the bay with 2 Sycthe Antivibration 3.5" to 5.25" converters

and the fan moves

so since it was ready i send it for powder coating and... it is back in 2 hours

i love the finish

testing the system

on my 40" tv

love the look of this ram

WHAT A MESS!

and everything is packed up and again waiting for more packages

and again PACKAGES are here (just got this about 12 hours ago )

the small package

BP compression fittings

chrome LED holders

green fan for my custom HDD holder

pump relay using it for the relay for my auxiliary PSU for now gonna change it with a better one soon.

What a start....Thanks for all the pic's, I know what a pain it is to document all that...

Keep them coming, I bet I want to see your TEC'ing results as much as you do......Burn, Pinhead are Skullsafire are the only ones here TEC'ing that I know of, and I think all 3 of them have quit now, I know Burn did anyway, and Skullsafire was using small TEC's...

Yours and Manyak's builds have me like a little kid waiting on Christmas, I'll finally have some guys to compare results and technique's with on the 437W ...

Man I bet that broke your heart to pack all that up and leave it yesterday, it would of mine....But you have it now that the important thing..

Whoa Buddy, your going to have some fun now....Are you going to run your mobo for a few days before you insulate it? I usually do, Asus and I've heard Gigabyte will take them back with Conformal and grease on them, if that wasn't what killed the board...I e-mailed DFI and they wont take them back if they have been insulated, kind of surprised me, you would think they would be the one sthat would take them back..

Very nice job so far...Looking great...

oh you dont know the half of it ... yup going to run the board for a bit once i get my monitor the insulation will wait... im gonna run the board with my 8600 GTS since its just sitting around i already removed the stock cooling on my 4870... and well i got an XFX and they dont take it back after insulation too so it really doesnt matter... thanks for the complements
