I totally want to...but I'm having trouble finding appropriately-sized mf towels locally. I can only seem to find hand towel sized ones.

I had this same issue. Ended up using regular towels on mine. Working so far but wonder if my temps would be any better using microfiber.

re. your dimensions. I assume that means 7" wide? how tall can you take your cooler inside that desk? There is another issue. On your tower bong you are exhausting any moisture outside of the desk. On a hvc/naja you will have it inside the desk. You may want to reconsider placement of it and/or alter the desk for better ventilation of that space.

I'm going to try felt in my bong. I think it may be better than a normal towel, even though it is less absorbent. I'm actually using felt because I can get like several yards of the stuff for just a few dollars at walmart. I have not yet picked up a container to use or anything to plumb it with yet. Also, why do I need the zip ties? I fail to see the several hundred mentioned anywhere in the pictures.

They are just to hold your tubes level. I guess the wet cloth gets heavy and tends to pull down on the rig.

exactly.... you just need some way to support your cooler so it does not 'telescope' into itself... the one I built did that about 3 minutes after I turned it on...... had to do some quick modifications...

Yeah that is a good one...it kinda matches mine. I almost picked that but figured that it was way more used then the other.

Would be nice to find some original art for it...

I found these at the store last night...lowered my temps 1-2c acoss the cores. $1.59 at Walmart. BTW: have any of you guys noticed your substate starting to...smell? My t-shirts had a musty odor to them. I've been using about 3 feet of .999 silver coils and a breathable biocide liquid. Anyways, I washed them last night after I put the Handi-Wipes on.

Here ya go DD:

(BTW, did you get my PM about adding me to the club?)
