Its nice not to have a huge pipe coming out from the desk, and better yet I don't have to run to the bathroom to pee every 30 minutes lol. Nobody had tried a naja with short (transverse) rungs so I consider myself the pioneer of the transverse mounted naja cooler. Glad it worked out too, cause it was a ton of work.
As for the hexacores.. if they're LGA1366 I'll give it a shot. I definitely want to upgrade to something on a smaller die.. 32nm possibly, but by the time 22nm comes around (~2011) I definitely want to go that route. We'll probably be on a new socket by then, though. By 2013 they plan to release 16nm CPU's. Regardless of when and how this stuff happens, the smaller the die gets the less voltage they'll need and the cooler these chips will run. We could possibly see a 32nm i7/i9 run as cool as some of these AM3/LGA775 chips with an evap cooler.
