Lol yeah, just didn't feel like forking out more money when I upgraded from a Phenom II X2 555 unlocked into a quad to an i5 and then an i7 within a year's time. Kind of stupid considering I wanted the PII for the unlocking potential and to save money. Same. Don't know why but I feel like going with the red team...hopefully their CPUs start catching up, feeling AMD lately.

its not a fair comparison, because i havnt tried the gtx 580, but i love ati/amd, and my ati xfx 5970 black editions were AMAZING CARDS!! i didnt even need two, one was complete overkill lol. my gtx 465 is alrite il admit i like it way better then the hd 5770s i had but those were low end cards.. always been a fan of ati i guess. x1650 pro> hd 5770> 2x hd 5770> 2x hd5970> gtx 465

Very Nice. Looking clean and sleek. How's the FT01? Did you mod the air filter on the top by any chance? lol

Lol, don't know where you got the money to fork out on those 5970s but you must've felt pretty ballin' asking for two of those at a store. The only reason why I could afford the i7 was because of retail edge =p. Hell lot cheaper compared to retail for sure and I didn't get hammered with brokerage fees to boot either.

i actually got an amazing deal on the two 5970s thanks to kijiji, i got both of the card brand new in the box never opened for $425 each i could not believe how dumb the guy was, lol and i resold them for $530 each after all the big price drops happened, and then i bought my gtx 465 lnib for $110. gotta love the used market, but i think im gunna got brand new for my next card, since there gunna take for ever to hit the used market.

Heh I remembered reading somewhere that the top filter had a design issue when it came to removing it but I guess that's not a problem for you? XD that's what I was asking when I asked about the mod.
