I would go with a FT03 instead, but then I'd have to switch to a mATX motherboard and ditch my BluRay burner. Add that to possibly swapping out my GPUs (as the MSI Cyclone's "throw hot air everywhere we can" philosophy isn't ideal), and it becomes a very expensive proposition.

I bought my current CM690 because I was looking to maximize airflow per dollar, but after living with it for a year, I've found the hoover-like noise of the 7 case fans I put into it to be very annoying. It doesn't help that I was stupid and bought LED fans, making it impossible to sleep with it on.

I've lowered its fan's speeds, adjusted the cooling, etc., but the CM690's just not a quiet case. Hence why I'm attracted to the RV02's balance. I know I'm asking a biased group of Silverstone Owners ( tongue.gif ), but what do you think? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks for your time.

If you don't mind carrying a heavy case around, then it's fine. It is very quiet since the fans are on the bottom. If you get a new one it should come with the nice new ap181 fans too.

I'm very happy with my RV03, and you are right that the difference in size and weight to your current case isn't that big. I would still recommend looking into the Fractal R3, it's a very quiet case that can be set up for very good cooling as well, not as cool as the RV02 but you shouldn't need it to be with just 460s, it's also a pretty small case which should make it easier for lans, still kinda heavy though due to it's sound deadening.
