As far as the exhaust vs intake debate goes, my H60 sits exactly where it should temps-wise, and I have it setup as exhaust.

Sure yeah that's what they're there for your absolutely right. But for the best cooling performance your better off with a fan in the middle of the board and without a radiator blocking your exhaust.

I've tested this myself. An air cooler, whether its facing down (c14) or up and out (d14) cooled the vrms waaay better than the H80. Matter of fact, they got damn toasty when I had the H80 installed.

Whether your temps are where they should be or not is completely debatable. Doesnt change the fact that your sucking warm air from the chassis through the radiator, which is not ideal.

I'm a big fan of the penetrator fans, but I'm sorry to say that they aren't the most powerful, or the most quiet. They just have a nice design that shoots air straight.

I honestly dunno why I'm debating this **** its common sense.

this case is not designed for water cooling of any kind

Here is my setup with my Raven 2 + Dog(He came with it, and wont leave) Notice my Pro cable management and really neat organized desk:) I just moved in and have had little time to get it alllooking pretty. Plus the wall socket placement sucks in this room. I have to run extensions. I am likely going to get rid of my Logitech speakers so that will improve things a lot.

I'm not sure if it's the difference in our motherboards, but I've had no problem with the h60 vs my CM212 on vrms. The temperature was the same both runs.

I also tried putting the cooler on the bottom vs the top and it was maybe a 1-2c difference, if that.

Maybe it's the thermal armor that's messing yours up? I'm not sure.

Hi guys!

I just recently bought an RV02 white edition and I was wondering how to remove the acrylic window on it. I tried looking at the back of the window and the screws/rivets seem to be threaded. Which type screw driver can I use to remove them or are they rivets I have to pop out?

Oh yeah, I'll add pics later of my beauty, please add me to the list of happy owners in this thread!

They're just screws bud, nothing fancy! First mod I did to my RV02-EW was to swap the window to the inside.

Thanks for the response Smo! +rep, I guess I just need a 2mm Allen wrench or something because for the life of me they don't look like Phillip head screws to me.

Yeah they're Hex Heads.

On this little screwdriver kit from HomeDepot the size is called an H2. Also, on this little Allen Wrench kit it's marked as 5/64".

I'll be honest, I'm not sure if that's a standard size name or anything.. it's just labeled as such.

A small kit from any hardware store, ie Lowes, Ace, OSH, HomeDepot will suffice. It's generally cheap, the kit I got was $10 at the time... not expensive at all, plus it comes in handy with other hardware dismantling [here's looking at your GPU] tongue.gif

If you have a mini flat head screwdriver that's just the right size you should be able to undo them but be careful!
