If your not comfortable soldering, there's an easier way to change the LED's. Go to FroenCPU, the LED's come in different colors.

All you would have to do is unscrew the top front panel screws, gently slid the front panel forward then lift up and it should pop off. It wont come off complelty, but just enought for you to get in and switch the LED's.

You should be able to see where the LED's are, pop them out and replace them with the ones you bought from Frozen CPU. Use some electrical tape to wrap right under the LED's and they should fit very snug.

I bought myself the FT02 as a graduation present in April 2010. I've had it ever since and have no complaints. This is the longest I've gone without changing out my case!

I have the limited edition RV02W-EW...

Purchased just before xmas, actually I was originally looking at the FT02B unfortunately at the time, no-one had them in stock!! mad.gif
For the moment I've built my 3960X into the case, running it with air cooled GPU and liquid (if the H80 counts) CPU. So far I have a few complains..

Cons:
- SilverStone's white powder coat sucks! I've had two replacements since and neither of them were perfect! I'm thinking if it were black, it'll be less noticeable??
- Occasionally the case creeks, probably due to internal temperature changes?
- I hate the huge bowing gaps between the top cover and the side doors...

Pros:
+ very quiet
+ love the motherboard position, make more logical sense to me.
+ great design though need refining ever so slightly.

I don't regret the purchase but I can't help to thank the FT02B looks nicer!! It's probably the fact it has less plastic??
Who knows, perhaps once I'm done with all the LC shopping, I'll buy the Fortress and use that instead. wink.gif

I unplugged mine from my mobo and tucked the LEDs in the top corner. Or you can remove it complete. Just follow the cable and snake it out of the case. You'll see what I'm talking about once you open the top front panel.

Thanks! It's a build for a friend. I'll post pictures soon!

That's my build. I transferred everything from a HAF-932 and added a new Blu-ray burner.

If anyone has recommendations for good lights for this case, let me know. My lights are probably the only thing that really mess up the clean look, because they have a big connector box.
