Then I get a PM from Mybadomen about how much work he did on his venom build, like no one else busted there ass doing there builds. He checks me on the thread about the deleted post about why I brought it up...so I told him why I thought it was wrong, guess what...that post got deleted as well.

i replied in your build log thread. hold your head up dude. your build is "worthy" of a FT02 with much more discriminating audience. phantom builds are bound to get more votes since their case only cost half as much and hence MUCH larger ownership base that would vote for their own case. your build doesn't need the loud paint job to scream PWNAGE since your 540mm rad already does so silently:D don't be upset by the fact that a phantom build is more "popular" then a FT02 build. that's like getting upset over a Honda being more "popular" then a Ferrari biggrin.gif keep in mind the number of phantom owners then FT02 owners.

I not saying venom was a bad build, but it's built for a completely different audience. loud paint job and flashy wires is what THAT group of computer owners are after. and unfortunately, THAT group of computer owners cant really afford FT02's:D

PS. to prove my point, the [Official] NZXT PHANTOM Club thread is 847 pages long while the The Silverstone Case Owners Club thread is 284 pages long:D yet you have more then 50% of the votes venom is getting...

just to add to this club,
i added two 80mm LED fan on the side of the RV-02e panels, one on each side, control by a lamptron fan controller knob.

powering one to max seem to lower casing internal temperature a variance of 3-5c when heavy load (playing BF3), could only get one fan to work at the moment due to missing one extension cable to power the other 80mm fan. will provide more info later.
post #2833 of 6404
/confused 80mm fans seems like a waste these days.

Here's a picture lvl8hacker sent me showing his clearance;

I did take a quick picture for you of what I am working with. This is with the filters removed for clearance.
IMAG0019.jpg

The Magicool 540 rad he's using is 35 mm thick, and the RX360 is 58.5mm thick, so I would assume clearance would be roughly be about 10.5 inches with the RX360 instead of the Magicool.
