I don't know how else 2 make a black rad look good and not get damaged in transportation while being in the front of a white case ... redface.gif

so you are trying to put your GPU on liquid using 3 x 5.25 bays? in that case, i'll recommend you reverse the airflow and make it an exhaust port instead of intake.

So basically, I should be just fine with the stock fan that came along with the RV03? smile.gif

depends on what you have in the system. just remember, the majority of the heavy lifting is done by the AP181's the exhaust fan is simply there to create a low pressure zone to let the air inside the case know where to flow towards. always remember air flows from high pressure to low pressure

Yeah, well, I got a setup like this:

2x AP181s bottom intake
1x Arctic Cooling F12 top, front intake
1x Apevia CF12S-UBL bottom, front intake
1x Coolink SWiF2-120P rear intake
1x Arctic Cooling F12 side intake
1x Silverstone FN-121 top exhaust

My Noctua NH-D14 has the following setup

NF-P12 ---> NF-P14 ---> NF-P12 - from bottom to top

Has it anything to say at all? smile.gif

well... what's your temp like? sounds like you are trying to fix something that's not broken biggrin.gif unless your CPU is seated improperly or you forgot to put TIM on your cooler you shouldn't be having bad temps at all biggrin.gif
post #2907 of 4788
Well, I'm just trying to see if I have to change anything smile.gif

Hmm... Well, idle my cores stay at 30, 31, 27, 32 (roughly), and when doing heavy gaming it's about 40, 42, 37, 44 (roughly)...

Right now none of my fans are on, and the idle temps are 42, 40, 37, 41 (roughly).

Not OC'd though...

Is that alright? smile.gif

Oh, well, then I guess there's nothing needing change smile.gif

Is it normal that one core is some degrees lower than the rest?

yes. it's normal because most prog's aren't written to take advantage of multi-threading

also most people forget the fact that computer chips aren't made from human skin biggrin.gif what may "feel" hot to human skin is perfectly normal for a silicon chip:)
