Hmm... Well, idle my cores stay at 30, 31, 27, 32 (roughly), and when doing heavy gaming it's about 40, 42, 37, 44 (roughly)...
Right now none of my fans are on, and the idle temps are 42, 40, 37, 41 (roughly).
Not OC'd though...
Is that alright? smile.gif

That's about the same as my 2600k. Idle is high 2x low 3x, and load can go low to mid 4x's.

Oh, so that's why one core is lower! Multi-threaded apps and what not... Could've told myself that doh.gif But you learn every day, right? wink.gif

I did know that "hot for humans" part (sounds a bit dirty, lol) biggrin.gif

you know... i was just looking at FizzleBob's House'o'Treats and my conclusion is you might be able to remove some fans and still achieve the same or close to the same thermal results but at a lower decibel level. have you tried to play around with turning fans off to see which ones you actually need and which one's are just making noise and not really providing any thermal results?

Thanks for looking! smile.gif

Yeah, actually I have tried since I got the case, and right now I'm pretty happy with it smile.gif Decibel levels aren't so much of a problem since, I only turn the fans up when I play games. I have a Scythe Kaze Master Pro which all my fans are hooked up to, so I can regulate them pretty precisely smile.gif

The bottom front fan cools my HDDs. The top front fan cools my heatsinks on the mobo (can never remember if those are mosfets or VRMs or what ever headscratch.gif ). The two bottom fans cool my case + delivers cool air to my Noctua NH-D14 fans. The Noctua's fans cool my CPU. Rear Coolink fan cools my GPU (actually gonna CFX later on, so I will need it very much). Side panel fan cools the back of the mobo/CPU-area and the SSD, and the top fan directs the air inside the case out (as you taught me biggrin.gif ).

But currently I have all fans turned off (besides the top fan), and the GPU fans are at 20%, so it's damn near silent smile.gif

personally i have my AP181's powered at around 550 to 600RPM and everything else off (except gpu, but that has its own fan profile). this way I keep the system on positive pressure and make sure no dust comes into the system.

Well, I clean the filters very often. Sometimes every day! smile.gif I also have DEMCiflex filters for the rear and side panel fan. I've had some other filters before, but the DEMCiflex are far superior!

I've been sifting through the rigs in here, and I am really liking the FT02 for a new case.

question though, will I run into any problems with cooling the hardware in my current rig, or will i need to grab anything to help with airflow (I wanna get everything I need in one shot)

PS- @WhitePrQjser: I used all my internet loading up your sig rig. lol

Can't go wrong with black.

I'm not a big fan of silver, if they had made a White FT02 like the RV02's I would have gotten it in white though.

Still may powder coat mine after I finish it.
