currently no. but i wouldn't put it pass ASUS from coming out with a MARS III RoG card a few months down the road...

As you were told it will fit, but the cooling of the card and the case will not compliment each other well at all. The lower GPU core will be trying to exhaust directly into the bottom AP181 which will be blowing against it, the airflow of half of the card will be fighting the case. I would go with two 680s over a 690.

This. You may want to mod a deflector onto the end of the 690, to push the lower exhaust flow towards the back of the card, and shield it from the 180mm fan's airflow.

you going to be able to unlatch a GPU with that aluminum over the mobo? I'd double check to make sure before you have everything screwed in or else you might not be able to get it back out again.

Yeah, I can, the first "test" shield that I had made from acrylic would not allow for the clips to move enough for me to unlatch the GPU. I redesigned the shield so they move just enough to unlatch... Good eye on that, as it was and issue I ran into that I wasn't expecting the first time around designing this shield.
