Rv-01. Ive had a few issues that I wouldnt have gotten with the motherboard in standard config. however Ive convinced myself the pro's outweigh them as the cons are minor and mostly to do with cable management. and im just lazy. will post pics tomorrow morning.

Will the Corsair H50 fit, with two fans on the rad in push/pull ?

Will a 2.5in to 3.5in adapter(http://www.silverstonetek.com/produc...SDP08&area=usa) work with the tool free design of the 3.5in HD bays ? (im going 2xSSD RAID 0 so the one space for 2.5in ant enough)
fireisdangerous84 is running push pull on his.

I actually PM'd him about what fans he used if you want to ask him some questions he is a nice person.

This was my question and his response.

What 2 fans did you use for the push pull setup? The case stock and H50 stock or two different ones altogether? I think I read you used 2 sharkoons, is that right? And it's exhausting up out of the case?

I got rid of the original silverstone fan coz it was too noisy, the top fan is the stock fan that comes with the H50 and the other fan is a sharkoon fan, i got that fan beacuse its came with different speed options. I currently have it on ultra silent and the corsair fan set to ultra silent in the bios and it keeps my core 15 750 (stock speed) at 31 degrees and is also pretty much silent. I have both fans exhausting air out of the case.

hope that helps

lol yes it is quieter with all the panels on. im also tempted to have the fan pull only as most of the whistling sound comes from the true. but that's a project for another day.

i will be keeping my raven but my next build will be a lian li. i know blasphemy. but thats the way the cookie crumbles

Are those the stock fans that come with the FT01? If not, can you get more powerful 180mm fans? Thanks!

Edit: NM those are the stock fans. FM181's are the 150CFM fans but they only come in white. Does anybody know if you can paint fans safely?

Not to sure other than alot of masking tape and alot of time.. I would recommend instead of paint, a plastic dye. if you do a google search you can come up with plastic dye products. Works by actually penetrating the pores of the plastic and changing its color and not coating the outside.

From what I understand if you use that product use very very very light coats. Also if there are any bumps or imperfections they should soak into the plastic after few weeks.

I would maybe get a cheapo fan to try it out on and see if you can get good results. I would love to see any info you get on it.

I have a couple questions for any FT01 owners.

1. Has anybody tried reversing the top fan to make it an exhaust fan? If so what were the results?

2. Has anyone cut out a heatsink backplate into the motherboard tray? Do you think this can be done without compromising the structural integrity of the case?

3. Has anybody modded the case to add side intake fans?

Thanks guys.
