Are there any other places I could purchase these?
.

because you are looking at the wrong one. the one that is discontinued is the one that came with USB2. ALL of the new one's come with USB3 now...
however, it seems like they are out of stock for the black windowed version atm. but there is a silver windowed or a black w/o window in stock atm. might want to email them and ask when they'll have the black windowed version in stock, or just amazon it.

edit: the model # you are looking for is SST-FT02B-W-USB3.0 which stands for silverstone-FT02black-windowed-USB3.0 version.

Oh my, how stupid of me...

So.. I take it there's no reviews because it just came out recently? I saw the cases but I figured they were just knock offs or something.. Well, I know NewEgg won't do that.. Agh, I don't know, I feel like if there's no reviews it's not real.

Anyway, thanks for clearing that up. I was close to getting an RV02, but if I'm spending some money, I'm getting the best for the cash I'm putting out.

there is no review because it's the same case with a different SKU and USB3 instead of USB2 in the front. all reviews of the old one apply to the new one.

just came across this new member can anyone verify if he's really from silverstone? it would be GREAT news if he's actually from silverstone and would help if he's linked in the front page of this thread.

Anyone here could tell me if I can actually remove the HDD cage/bays from the Silverstone Raven RV02B-W or would I need to mod it and cut it away?

Going to water cool my graphic cards, but to fit the 3x180mm rad I would need to take away the HDD zone:

Any clues?

you would need to bust out the cutter. the 3x3.5 HDD bay cage is only an insert for the 5.25 bays so once you remove the 3.5 HDD bays, you still need to cut away the 5.25 bays on the lower side of the chassis that housed the HDD bay.

Oh, I guess I'll need to ask someone to help me out then. doh.gif

True. I run three of my fans at 450rpm and it still cools like a champ. The only thing I can hear from my rig is the pump. But its a very faint sound.

I'll run them with the stock AP-181 fans from the RV02B-W at like ~60% speed which is dead silent. biggrin.gif

I have the small brother from that rad (Magicool Dual 180mm, you can check my build pc) and it is amazing, the bigger one (540) must be tremendous. eek.gif
