Building a new rig and stuck between to Silverstone cases, the TJ07 and TJ11. I'm going water cooling as I prefer quiet computing. Now I will be watercooling the Asus RIVE, the 3930K, the Corsair Dom Ram (I know it is overkill, but I gotta hide the red for a green build) and three GTX 780s (Have one atm but will get another two sometime soon). Now these are the options that I have with each case

TJ07 with Coldzero and Murdermod parts - 480 and 240 in the front 5.25 which I don't know is enough to cool all the listed items.
TJ11 - 560, 360 and a 120 radiator which can cool anything.

Now, which one will you prefer and also state why, cause I would like to hear your opinon.

Welcome to OCN!smile.gif

I've admired the TJ07 since they were released back in '06. When I finally bought one last year, the TJ11 couldn't sway me away from it, but certainly both cases have their pros and cons.

You sound knowledgeable about both cases, if cost isn't a factor then you should consider your layout preference. The TJ07 will do conventional or inverted ATX.
Do you like the TJ11's Raven-like rotated motherboard layout? That is one of the biggest differences between the two cases.
Of course the TJ11 is bigger, has room for a 560 rad, etc.

I would think the 480/240 rads in the TJ07 would be sufficient for you, but if you are serious about getting into three cards, certainly the increased rad space in the TJ11 doesn't hurt.

But to be realistic, if rad space and room is a big factor, you would be better off with something like a CaseLabs case. I think most of those who choose a TJ07 or TJ11 consider the styling and size of the case to be a factor in their decision. That was important to me, I liked the sleek styling and reasonable size of the TJ07.

The problem is I love both the layout and visual appearance of the TJ 11/07 and thats why I chose these cases instead of something like a Caselabs. The three 780s is still debatable because I enjoy surround gaming and only use one screen for gaming when I'm playing something multiplayer such as BF3 or CS. Money is out of the equation as even if I buy the TJ07, the other half of the money will be to getting TJ07 parts so its even.

If I was going to go TJ07, I would be wrapping the case in 3M Di-Noc as you mentioned, it's a reasonable size case and is perfect.

BAHAHHA, so hard to chose

It is a tough decision! I do like the TJ11 as well, but the 07 has always been my favorite. So many mod parts out there for it, and I like IATX because it allows me to showcase the top gpu "right-side up" through the tinted top window I bought for it! There are times when I think I would have liked to have a CaseLabs case, but I really prefer the look of the 07.

I can't get into the rotated-motherboard design of the TJ11, as nice of a case as it is. But that's all personal preference, many people like that design.
I've seen some TJ07's wrapped in Di-Noc, done properly, it looks sharp.
I have to say that I'm very pleased overall with the 07, it does involve some work and thought to mod it as you like, but it's worth it.
