i'm alittle concerned with the acoustics since it doesn't look like they made any efforts in that department. maybe some acoustic foam and some rubber mounts for the AP182's would help alittle but overall i'm very interested in how the case performs overall.

I'm not quite done with it yet. I Still need to install the OS and burn it in to test all the parts so I'm not sure of the cooling performance yet.

First impressions: Wow! I've never seen a case like this before. It's a beautiful case and very heavy. It is quite expensive, but then I deemed it worthy considering it's going to be running 24/7 in a somewhat dusty environment, so it's well worth the price. The two AP182's that come with it were kinda loud, but DAMN are they powerful. Though, it does come with individual fan controllers so no problem there. Even with the filter installed, it does feel like it pulls a lot of air, even when i turn them down to acceptable noise levels. I'll be back to work on it later today to finish it off. Or at least to progress on it. No build log on it YET. I'll set one up and link you guys when I get the chance.

Where can I some "cable holder screws" (sorry for the term)? I need good cable mangement.. I used to saw that in some post here before...

Anyway, here's my rig... I hope to own 2 Nvidia Geforce 970, additional Avixir Core ram and MSI SLI Bridge anytime soon.

Has anyone here tried to fit a Raijintek Morpheus into a TJ08-E before?...it seems like it would fit, but I am having my doubts.

Thinking of putting one on my 290X in this rig:

I think it is going to be a tight squeeze if it does manage to fit in...

Also one day I will set up another water cooled rig in my FT-02:

(I no longer have the R4BE mobo).

I'm considering this case, but have trouble finding info...
like: how "deep" is the gap between the backboard and the "saloondoor/vent"?
I can imagine that having a stiff hdmi cable with an oversized connector/plug might have some issues, since you have to bend it downwards to exit at the bottom.

Similar: how much space between the fans and the front saloondoor/vent? Or how thick is the heap filter?

I would be gratefull if you could do a quick "depth" measure.. it looks about two inches, but measuring is better as guessing smile.gif

i don't think there would be a problem. it's not the 1st chassis silverstone has built what uses a "covered" rear panel. my own case (FT02) uses a covered rear panel design and i don't have any problems routing cables like HDMI, DVI etc... as long as you aren't using "tall adapters" like the "DVI to VGA" or "DVI to HDMI" adapter type plug you should be fine.

You're looking at about 2.5 inches from the fan to the front cover and about 4-5 inches from the back of the case to the rear cover.
