Our cases comes in so many different styles so they tend to branch out and start their own threads, below are some examples:

RVZ / FTZ/ ML slim form factor cases
TJ08-E / PS07 micro-ATX tower
FT03 / FT03-Mini small form factor cases
SG13 small form factor case
SG08 small form factor case

I have read that it's sometimes difficult to keep temps low in the ML08 so some problems cooling? I want to use a low profile heat sink/cooler and would like to try the water-cooling AIO style.

I want to use a SFX or SFX-L PSU and initially, I would go with an Intel 4600 cpu but eventually I want to upgrade to a low power i5 or i7.

Thanks for any info and advice.

I usually compare to Lian Li cases since they are light (aluminum) and I would like to build this year.

For those three cases, our own AR06 cooler is a good choice for all of them.

Anyone tried putting their Silverstone ITX case into one of these? http://www.ergotron.com/en-us/products/product-details/33-338#/

It's .8" out of the spec.... just curious if by some miracle it'd fit. be nice and compact for LAN parties.

Are we ever going to see a worthy successor to the "big" Raven/Fortress RV02/FT02 case?
An updated, refreshed , able to better handle WC version for 2017/18, not something cubed and shrunk and askew like the last few iterations?

I'ld like to a build project on a 90° MB rotation, but the RV02/FT02 are clearly showing their age (and limitations) and are therefore too expensive to buy new.
Dont get me wrong, i still think it are fantastic cases, but today's standards & expectations require just that bit more "finesse".
Nobody does that "bolted-on plexi window" look anymore, for example (its all tempered glass nowadays).
Of course, i could "fix" that myself, but when paying +250 Euros i'ld like to keep that kind of extra work to a minimum you know smile.gif

What the F? Almost 650 Euro, is this case made out of Adamantium?

I see I see. But I can't be the only one on here with this case lol

Inlays just look so much better. I remeber looking at the work on SST cases from a guy called "Martma" on this german forum: https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f81/sammelthread-martmas-casemodding-bilder-thread-2-a-777776.html
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Ncase M1 inlay

I wonder how well this SG14 will sell:

I hoped to see real FT03/mini successors but this is kinda cheap.

@Danzle I know , right. I love how he did the top mounted reservoir for example. I wish i had the tools to do something like that smile.gif
I'm willing to pay +250 for something with flush inlays, but i am not willing to pay that for something that looks like someone did a "i've-just-cut-out-the-side-panel-and-stuck-some-plexi-on-it-in-my-garage"
That's my biggest gripe, when the windowed FT02/RV02 was released, i was thinking "yeah THAT i could have done myself"

We really need a successor or refresh of the FT02/RV02 which is about 2" longer & taller, giving you extra space in the bottom so you can put in a rad without resorting to hacking & drilling and also moves the MB a bit to the right, giving you the sorely needed space between MB & drive cages to put something like a real GPU in the bottom/left PCI-E slot.
ah well...

A removable PSU shroud for optics and modders should be in there too!

Yes, and it could double up as something to stick SSDs on

Hey y'all, this place is a little quiet but I though that I'd toss my hat into this ring. Look what I found on eBay for a nice price.

Fan for scale... because it is really hard to do justice to the size of this thing. I have admired this case from a far, and recently made the decision to upgrade PCs. A lot of my inspiration came from this thread, with a big chunk of it from lowfat, I don't know if you are still poking around here, but I hope that I do right by you with this awesome case. Anyways, I am big on gaming, an online student, and new to streaming. So it's about time for an upgrade, and a bonus is I'm just in time for Ryzen and to see how it affects the market. My last build was done in an mITX case, and it was my first in that form factor as well as my first in water cooling... needless to say that I pretty much shot myself in the foot wha-smiley.png

In any case, I am pumped to work inside this chassis, and even more so to applied what I learned from my mistakes the first time. I have had the itch for a while, and I am hoping to have something to be proud of when she's done.

I took the unibody piece off my FT02, and now I'm trying to find the screws to put it back on. I had 16 "optical drive" style screws in my FT02 bag which I thought were the ones, but they're too long. What type of screws are supposed to be used to attach the outer unibody piece to the inner chassis? I just spent 30 minutes on google image search trying to find a photo that showed them so I know what the heads look like at least, but no one's taking photos at that angle.
