Thanks mate. I wish it was a standard production model. Looks like it can be found on ebay and shady sites online.
I like it because it's inoffensive, It's quiet enough.

Claes I like the idea of keeping something there so that there's no giant hole there and because it might slow the rate that dust accumulates since its blowing out closer to the top. I wish there was a better dust solution than the mesh at the bottom.

It's true! The bottom filters on the FT02 have never made any sense to me... I've never measured but there's a nice gap between the plastic frames, the chassis bottom, and the filters. Since the plastic mounts aren't closed a lot of dust is pulled in and accumulates at the bottom.

I've been thinking of replacing my filters with demcifilters (they make one for the top, too) - might look into that. Really the forced air from the APs and the honeycomb cover should keep dust coming in from the top (assuming your computer is on all of the time), but your situation might be different. redface.gif

If you're looking for a solid replacement fan I'd recommend the SilentWings 3: http://thermalbench.com/2016/10/21/be-quiet-silent-wings-3-120-mm-high-speed-fan/4/

Nice to see this case getting some love. I still have my RV02 with a 540mm rad in it. One day I'll use it again.

Yea it's an awesome case. I have my gripes but I don't think there's a "perfect" case.
I'm thinking of just starting all over with my FT02, I've made some modding choices I'm not happy with on the current case (And just the general level of execution), and would like to be able to do it all over differently this time...also I've been in contact with Hardware Labs, and I might be getting a prototype 540mm radiator off them once Easter is over (its a massive public holiday for Filipino's).

Going for a more minimal and subdued look this time round, will still be getting a rad grille laser cut/water jetted, but wont be having a front window on the case, that will have a 240mm radiator mounted this time..also don't think I will bother with getting the new case powder coated, its a real PITA (we shall see...) I am considering just keeping it brushed aluminum.

Not sure what to do with the current FT02, I guess I will eventually finish off the last two mods and sell it off, seems a real shame, but it was a learning process I guess.

Jelly :[ But yea man that sounds awesome all the way around. Sometimes the minimal mods are the best looking ones. And I feel you about execution, I am not happy at all with my MOBO tray cut, and I will be redoing it here soon. Speaking of another rad, I have been meaning to ask this. I know that 540mm of rad will cool just about whatever I throw at it, but I am nervous for running in a series Rad > CPU > GPU. Like just going straight from component to component without another rad (even if its a single 120) to dump some heat. Will this cause temp issues? Like is it worth it to try to fit another rad in there for dumping heat or is going in that series going to be ok?
