Ok i am thinking of upgrading something in my sig PC but there are so many upgrades I want to make that I wish money grew on trees

Here are my choices:

-A second GTX260
-A new motherboard + some DDR3
-A good sound card
-A water cooling system
-Big tower casing

If you have any other suggestions of what to upgrade feel free to share them

I'd say WC. See how far you can push that Q6600. You could also get another GTX260, but unless you're running something like Crysis on a high rez monitor with everything turned up, I just don't think the money is worth it IMO.

I'd say a sound card, unless temps at that vcore are holding you back

If your not an audioPhile, I would not bother with the soundcard.
I would go for a Better Quad (the i7s are not that far ahead of them)
Water cooling you can get MAYBE 4GHZ on a 6600, rather get a 9650 or something that can do 4.5 with WC.
Why not get a raid array to increase HDD speed?
After both of those, then I would only go for DDR3 and a new MB...

Id get the WC and push that Q6600 Higer! You don't have the best cooler and that Q6600 will do atleast 3.6Ghz stable on water!

Other: A better CPU, but your system really is pretty good atm. WC would be my second choice.

Well i was thinking of the q9550 but I'm going to push my q6600 to 3.6-3.8ghz when I get a better cooler (soon i hope) and I don't think i would see a big performance improvement then with the q9550.

the improvements would be in lower power consumption, more guaranteed OC to that level, and a slight IPC increase

i would just get another GTX260. i mean, if you intend to get a new mobo and DDR3 ram you may as well go i7. be sure to upgrade you PSU though: i don't know how good Sharkoon are

I wouldn't get another video card unless you simply aren't satisfied with your gaming performance. I would probably get a Q9550 instead. I'm not sure how far you can push it on your chipset, but it would be the biggest upgrade for your system. A Q9300 will outperform the Q6600 at the same clocks despite less L2 cache. A Q9550 seems like the most logical upgrade to me.

My next choice would be a better CPU cooler, not necessarily water. You should be able to push your Q6600 to 3.6 GHz with a TRUE rather easily. I've got mine running there stable at around 1.42V. I'd give you exact numbers, but my rig is in Wichita Falls and I'm in Lubbock. Water isn't a bad idea, though. Just make sure you buy quality parts and you're rather meticulous with putting it together.
