I installed Grid (twice actually) and as the main screen with options comes up, it will freeze and crash... Grid.exe has stopped working or what ever. I downloaded and installed the 1.1 patch, still the same issue. Any suggestions?

What drivers are you using?
Could be a vista 64bit issue?
Or crossfire issue?

found a v1.2 patch downloading it now, but don't think that is the issue?

using the latest drivers from ATI.... I do get the yellow triangle saying ATI display driver has encountered a problem.... so might be a cross-fire issue?

if you're using steam try restarting it and check if there are any updates for GRID

Well if you get a yellow display error under your graphic settings, thats the problem right there.

How about you remove one card, reinstall the drivers for that one card and use one card, make sure no yellow mark is present and see does the game run.
Btw i thought when using Crossfire you have to use the same exact card? You are using crossfire with a 3870 and a 3850?

ok, so I re-installed and did not turn on the overdrive option in the ATI CCC. Grid loaded properly, though I didn't play it cause now I need to find my controller lol.
