Do you think you'll hit 266FSB? The price is pretty decent for 1 gig of 4200!

I dont see how you could go wrong, the latency's are ok, you'd probably have to loosen them anyways to get into the 230+ range.

I have heard very little of Komusa, but with the price, I dont think you could go wrong!

I dont think with this chip (XP 3200+) will be able to hit 266. If I can get her somewhere around 230 ILL be happy.
My mobo tends to go a little goofey when I stray from 2.5 Latency. So my thinking, and please correct me if Im wrong. Is that Ill need atleast PC 4000 to get to 230 fsb stable, without playing with timeings or voltages. And I might as well get the PC4200 at this price.

I think that is a valid assumption.

You may want to check some reviews on this memory though. I'm going to check for reviews as well, I'm going to look for reviews that test it at 200+ FSB and see what the reported CL is.

You may need to rethink your strategy if we can't find that this particular ram is stable at 2.5 and 200+FSB.

***EDIT

I found one review, shows the ram can hit 270FSB!!! But the CL is 3.0 not 2.5

I will continue to look for reviews that have a couple FSB's tested, not just a max.

If you want to take a peak at the 270FSB review, http://www.cluboverclocker.com/revie.../kth4200/2.htm

***EDIT

I didnt find any more reviews on the ram, but I'm guessing (just my best guess) that the CL remains at 2.5 until 230 or so. It's worth buying, if it doesnt do 2.5 at the desired FSB, just RMA it.

I think that ram will be more than suffice to max you out with the 3200.

Well I learned something, Ijust asumed that because its rated at that latency and that speed. That it would do it. I thought the CPU would be the wall.

I am currently running OCZ PC 3500 CL 2.5 at 216 fsb stable. Once again I asumed that by going up to PC 4200 With a CL of 2.5 That I might get 230-240 FSB. Im glad I asked the question. Help me

Thanks I think well try it. if it works it will be a heck of an OC on a 3200+

Ok question; How do I spend 250 dollars on ram without the wife finding out. LOL

Here is the only review I know of for that ram:
http://www.cluboverclocker.com/revie...y/kth/kth4200/

They seemed to like it.

I have the 3700 Hyperam and I can't complain. I think my MB is holding me back from a higher FSB though...
