Hey everyone, about two weeks ago I decided that I wanted a filter for the side of my Coolermaster HAF 932. Now I remember reading (not sure if it was here or not) that using stockings works ok, so I decided to give it a shot. Now I can't give you airflow readings since I have no way to measure that but what I can tell you is that none of my temps changed and there is a ton of dust that didn't make it into my case. Here is what I used: nylon stockings, some velcro, a pair of scissors, and a lint roller to clean it off every so often. I know this sounds ghetto (and it is
) but it works.
Pic one - my amazing supplies minus the velcro since I used it all
Pic two - is the nylons stretched over the side of my case, the gray area is all the dust!!
just thought I would share in case some one was looking for a decent and cheap solution to help keep there case free of dust, hair and what ever else some of you guys with the crazy cfm fans might suck in
