walmart had a 50 foot length of quad for 20 bucks... buddy just bought some to get cable in his room in the apartment.... Id say home depot will have it too...

In the past i've always bought coax from radio shack. I can't guarentee they'd have OQ, but i can guarentee they'd have RG-6, and they will cut whatever length you want from their roll. I'd just call before i went.

Anyways, hardware stores do have them in lengths of 50', 100', and 1000'. Most of it is plan RG-6/U but they do have RG-6/UQ.
