To start, go here and enter you ASUS board "Product", "Series" and "Model". After that is done, click the "BIOS" tab at the top of the page. The most recent BIOS update for your ASUS board will be located at the top of the page. Download it. After downloading it, un-zip it to your desktop for easy access. I didn't do pictures because this is self explanatory.
Also, you will have to already have intalled ASUS Update to do this
1. Now, in the first shot you see ASUS Update as it is when you open it up.
2. In the second shot you will see the drop down box list of your choices. Choose "Update BIOS from a file". After you click that, it is going to ask you to locate the file. Now, if you were a good little boy/girl, and followed my directions, your file will be on the "Desktop".
3. As you see in the third shot, click the drop down box and select "Desktop".
4. After this is done, it is going to pull up any .ami files that may be on your desktop, as seen in shot four. Unless you have downloaded other BIOS files, there should only be one, click it.
5. It will bring you to a screen looking like shot five. From here, it's very simple. Click "Flash" let it do it's thing, and then restart.
Your BIOS is now updated.
I hope this FAQ helps someone out, I've noticed more and more threads about updating BIOS, so I figured I would show the easiest way that I have found for ASUS boards.
