I've got one of the HIS IceQ 6570s. Coolest card I've ever owned. I have an aggressive curve for the fan, and at full load with furmark for 15 minutes with the fan at 100%, it never goes above 110 Fahrenheit with an ambient of about 70.

Hi, i had older 6950 as well in crossfire but recently upgraded to 7970Ghz edition biggrin.gif Loving it!




Now the bad boys are underwater! biggrin.gif







Hey, i just forgot that i had iTurbo from HIS that does the same as Trixx.. even memory volt and core volt mod as well! Check it out.. Great for HIS owners thumb.gif

question I picked up a HIS 6950 IceQ X Turbo X 2GB card of a friend who had it running in a sli setup it has only been used for a bout 5 hours before it went in the cupboard thinking something was wrong with it now I have it, question is I beleave it can be unlocked to 6970 ? can anyone confirm this. and hear is my rig with it in smile.gif

It isn't that simple, and you're asking that question in the wrong place too.
Unlock 6950 to 6970 guide
Please don't do this if your card doesn't have a bios switch.

Azza Genesis 9000W.. nice case.. i have a black version now.. sold the white.. i also did the led swap and strip swap.. i wanted blue wit black instead of the red... smile.gif
